The extremism danger
Ηow many times have we heard from establishment politicians and members of the so-called élite that one of the gravest dangers that humanity is facing at this point in time (apart from apocaliptic man-made climate change) is the “rise of populism” or “far-right extremism”? More than one could bear, we dare say.
What they’re trying to accomplish is obviously scare people into thinking that if they don’t go along with their plans and their political program, even if they don’t like it, they’re going to face the possibility of having “fascism” or “nazism” rise to power again. They’d like to have us think that they’re the only valid alternative for freedom and democracy, the only one that can defend our open and multi-cultural tolerant society from going back straight into a hellish dark age under populist rule.
So we’ve been told that there was no possibility that the British could fall for the complaints of a few uneducated peasants, fishermen and hillbillies misguided by some scammer half-politician, leader of an obscure party of bigots. Even less possibilities that a crazy orange clown could win the presidency of the United States of America, against such a magnificent champion of human rights and world peace. A bunch of gun-toting racist rednecks couldn’t possibly decide the fate of that great nation!
No, things didn’t turn out the way they wanted, and now they’re in big trouble all over western society. But after the initial shock, contingency measures are quickly been adopted. Internet censorship beign one of the priorities, but also international crisis and military tensions with Russia, the country that in their plans would have had to be portrayed as our “common enemy”, so that the people would be forced to accept more belt tightening, as if the impoverishment and the amount of taxes that we already have to be subjected to wasn’t enough.
Tell the truth: you never thought that the way to achieve globalized progress was to live the orwellian dream, didn’t you? People like Obama, Hillary Clinton and Angela Merkel, that has under her the whole European Union, are telling us that to achieve peace we need a war. War is peace. They’re telling us that we have to give up our rights and be surveilled and told what to do by the all seeing super-state. Freedom is slavery. They’re telling us that they will review the news and tell us what is real and what isn’t. Ignorance is strenght. As a bonus, poverty is richness, we might add. They want us to live under permanent austerity and reject the ugliness of making a little more money for ourselves.
If you wanted to look at some other options, in case you weren’t interested anymore in this kind of policies, well you can’t! The alternative is fascism and regression! Really? So what does the extremist opposition stand for, in general? Well, they’re not all the same of course, we have various movements that are opposed to the establishment: from Nigel Farage’s UK Independence Party, to Marine Le Pen’s Front Nationale in France, Geert Wilders’ Partij Voor de Vreiheid in the Netherlands and Frauke Petry’s Alternative für Deutschland in Germany and even the Swedish Democrats in Sweden. Some common points that they are making? National and economical sovereignty, opposition to anti-democratic EU, regulating immigration and border control, decreasing taxation, peace with Russia, starting with the lift on the economic sanctions imposed on her, and just maybe, avoid stirring up the middle east and getting involved in irresponsible military interventions. What does the current political class representing globalism and elitism stands for, again? Austerity and inhuman taxation, wars in God forsaken countries, permanent military crisis with Russia, internet censorship, people control and letting us be invaded by Islam, that has only one objective: imposing sharia law on the western world and eventually conquer it and kill and enslave the infidels.
Who are the extremists here?
